Vicky Griffiths, Chairperson of the VATC, commented,
"The evening was such a buzzing and special celebration of women’s sport at Oxford (and beyond).
We had two Olympic gold medalists in attendance!
The highlight of the evening was Vice Chancellor Professor Irene Tracey’s speech, in which she spoke so passionately about the importance of sport at Oxford, and how compelling the data is in showing the positive correlation between high level sport and strong academic performance."
Thank you to all those who attended and we hope to see you and many more next year.
