After a hugely successful Varsity year that saw the combined Oxford University Swimming Club win in Cambridge, members of the team including a flotilla of Vincent’s are setting up a full frontal assault on the French Coastline by way of the Varsity Channel Challenge.
This year’s team: Sophie Lawrence, Esme Briggs, Max Anderson Loake, Charlotte O’Leary, Sam Nicholls, Eva Ponting, David Pugh and Jackson Spry, a team of six swimmers and two reserves, will form a relay to battle the elements, more than 20 miles of open water and a team from Cambridge to raise money for Choose Love - a charity dedicated to helping refugees.
