All Vincent's members, their spouses, partners, and guests, are cordially invited to the 2021 Vincent's Club Dinner which will be held in the historic Reading and Writing Room, and Gladstone Library, of the National Liberal Club; now run by The Royal Horseguards Hotel, 2 Whitehall Court, Whitehall, London, SW1A 2EJ, on Wednesday, 29th September, 2021.
The Dinner Chairman is Ian Ritchie, (Trinity, 1975,) Chairman of VATC, previous CEO of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, ex-RFU Chief Executive Officer, and also ex-Chairman of Premiership Rugby. Alongside Ian will be Guy Kinnings (Keble, 1983), Deputy CEO of the European Tour, and Ryder Cup Director, who will introduce his friend Paul McGinley, who will be our speaker. Paul is a Ryder Cup star, and will be returning from the States for the dinner, having commentated on the 2021 tournament at Whistling Straits for SKY. He is also an executive fellow of the Leadership Institute at the London Business School.
The Club is holding the dinner in September as the Rugby Varsity matches have moved to Saturday 2nd April 2022, so the traditional date is not so important. (It will be the 150th anniversary of the first Men's Varsity Match, and 100yrs of matches at Twickenham, so do note the date and look out for details).
We are considering our options for future annual dinners; please let us know your views: bursar@vincents.org.
Dinner details:
Tables of Ten: £1150 if booked and paid for by one person.
There will be a decent amount of wine included in the price. However, there will also be a cash bar available for extra pre and post-dinner drinks, wine and beers.
