To celebrate and commemorate the life of one of our most loved members and fallen Blue, and to launch the Ian Williams (BGI) Foundation, OURFC will be hosting the inaugural Ian ‘BGI’ Williams memorial match on Saturday 16th June. His former Swansea teammates will step up against his former Oxford teammates in a match full of pride, passion, and of course, plenty of Anglo-Welsh rivalry. The bar in the pavilion will be open as will the student-budget friendly pitchside bar, and a fully stocked BBQ (including veggie options) will be fired up all afternoon.
Players and supporters are invited to Vincent’s following the event. Ian’s friends and family would like to extend a welcome to the day for all, regardless of whether you knew Ian.
