VINCENT’S CLUB IS CLOSED DURING THE PERIOD OF THE LOCKDOWN
The President and committee apologise that we cannot welcome you to Vincent’s at present, but please rest assured we look forward to resuming normal service as soon as possible.
The Club reopened on 5th October thanks to the generosity of its alumni members who contributed to the new safety measures, strict cleaning regime, and other support. This included a new booking system which must be used to access the Club. This is to guarantee you a seat. Resident members have been sent the link to the booking system. Members (including alumni members) who do not have the booking link should email email@example.com to be sent it.
All staff are currently on furlough, but once reopen alumni members and reciprocal club members should contact the Steward, Tom Smith, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 01865 722984, to book.
In the meantime please address all queries to the Bursar and alumni administrator: Simon Offen (email@example.com). He will respond as soon as possible.
A message from Hannah Danbury, President 2020/21
The Vincent’s Club still stands as the pinnacle of sport at Oxford since its conception in 1863. It brings together the very best from the sporting world at Oxford in a space that defies the boundaries of colleges and sport teams. The club continues to move from strength to strength at the start of this new decade with an ever increasing diverse membership and expanding outreach and scholarship programmes to help the truly talented reach their maximum potential. The club will forever be a home for its members and a welcoming space for their guests.
Our Clubhouse at 1A King Edward’s Street offers an upscale and perfectly located venue for informal lunches, drinks and dinners and larger scale events. I look forward to welcoming members and their guests up to the Club very soon.
